Our Vision
A better world for every child.
Our Mission
We put children first. We inspire and engage supporters to raise funds, promote children’s voices and create lasting change for children. Our diverse, passionate, and determined team upholds the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child for children all over the world, including the UK.
Our Strategy
We are now in the process of developing our new 2027–29 strategy. The 2023-26 strategy was guided by the goals below.
Strategic Goals
INCOME
Raise £570 million over 4 years workign towards a sustainable 80 pence in the pound for all children by end of 2026.
INFLUENCE
Influence the UK Government an nations to secure stronger commitments to child rights both in the UK and internationally, inclusing progress towards UNCRN incorporation, investment in early childhood (removal of 2-child limit), and protecting the quantity and quality (25% allocation) of aid that supports children.
UK PROGRAMMES
Transform systems and services across health, education, sport and local communities that directly improve the outcomes and life chances of millions of children in the UK by 2026.
OURSELVES
Build high performance culture and capabilities, underpinned by a highly effective, engaged and diverse workforce that lives our values and delivers our best work for children.
Accountability
In order to achieve our mission and to ensure that our work has the greatest impact on the lives of children, we believe it is vital to be accountable – particularly to the supporters who fund our work.
We take the responsibility of using our supporters’ donations to the best effect seriously and aspire to the highest standards of good governance.

In the UK
In 2024 supporters helped UNICEF UK raise £135 million to help build a better world for every child.
£16.6 million raised to support humanitarian emergencies for children in more than 75 countries and territories.
UK supporters donated £1 million to support children and families affected by the war in Ukraine.
Screened more than 12 million children for severe acute malnutrition.
